Vitalpointz IoT Core/Core Lite controls the number of IOT device/Fog Nodes that can be on-boarded using device license. Every instance of the IoT platform comes with certain number of free device Licenses. For example, the platform available on digital ocean’s market place is bundled with 1024 device licenses. More licenses can be added.
New license can be request by navigating to License Manager and clicking on ‘Request License’ button.
When Request License is clicked, it generates a request email to vitalpointz support team, who generates a new license and sends the same by email to tenant root on the registered email.
The email contains the new license key as text file attachment. Open the file and copy-paste the content into text area called License Key and click ‘add license’.
